A home delivery is food that has been prepared and cooked in our kitchen and then delivered to your home in order for you to reheat it when you need it (for example for a party, private catering, or if you don't fancy cooking yourself!)
Our personal chef experience is just that- an experience brought to you by professional chef, Ian White. Ian will come to your home (or other chosen venue) and cook in your kitchen in front of you and your guests, treating you to the ultimate fine dining experience in the comfort of your own home/venue. After all- staying in is the new going out! Choose from a 3 course choice menu or specially selected taster menu.
Before your event, Ian will be in touch to confirm your menu selections—either a three-course meal or main course choices from the five-course tasting menu—and to share a few simple requirements: a clean kitchen and some fridge/freezer space.
🕒 On the Day
Ian typically arrives around two hours before service to begin preparations. Upon arrival, he’ll need a brief overview of your oven and hob, and to be shown the toilet facilities. He’ll bring everything needed for your experience, including pots, pans, plates, and cutlery. The only items not provided are glassware and beverages.
🎨 Setting the Scene
The team will lay and decorate the table to suit your occasion, creating an elegant, welcoming atmosphere before service begins.
🍷 During Service
Once you're seated, Ian will personally serve and introduce each dish. You can choose the pace between courses, or allow Ian to guide the flow for a relaxed, seamless experience.
🧼 After Dinner
When the final course is served and enjoyed, the team will discreetly clear away, wash up, and leave your kitchen spotless—just as they found it—so you can continue your evening without lifting a finger.
We can deliver items such as: Sunday lunches, afternoon teas and breakfast boxes within a 4 mile radius of DY5 (near Stourbridge in the West Midlands). For addresses outside of this radius, deliveries will be charged at £2 per mile.
We can provide our Personal Chef experience to addresses that are up to 30 miles away from our home near Stourbridge in the West Midlands. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate addresses any further than this.
Usually, we ask for a minimum of 6 guests for the 3 course menu; however, if you require our services for a party with less than 6 diners, please get in touch and we can try to accommodate your dinner party, where possible.
There is no limit for a five course Private Chef experience; Ian has catered for hen parties of over 30 people, but also intimate birthday gatherings of just 10.
For parties of four or more, an additional charge will apply for waiting staff to ensure seamless service throughout your event.

We are pleased to be able to offer vegetarian dishes on all of our menus. If you require an (vegan, gluten or dairy free etc) alternative then please get in touch so that we can design a menu that is suitable for you where possible. We ensure that foods for people with special dietary requirements are prepared first to avoid contamination of harmful ingredients and these are also packaged separately.
All of our dishes may contain traces of allergenic ingredients; whilst we take steps to minimise any risk of cross contamination our food is prepared and cooked in a kitchen that handles multiple ingredients. We provide an allergen sheet with all allergens contained in your food for your information. The allergen sheet also shows where the manufacturer has declared that the product does contain an allergenic ingredient; if you wish to know if any of the manufacturers have advised that there may be traces of an allergenic ingredient, please contact us.
Well not to worry! As a qualified chef, Ian is able to create a variety of different cuisines and menus to suit all needs and budgets.

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure peace of mind for both parties when booking with us. All cancellations should be in writing via email to dinebywhite@gmail.com. If you should wish to cancel or reschedule your event we will always endeavour to help. If you choose to cancel at least 14 days in advance of the date booked you will be offered a refund or a date change, free of charge. However if you should wish to cancel or change the date of your event up to 14 days in advance of the original date, we can only offer a partial refund, as other business opportunities may have been compromised. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refund or change of date if you have to cancel within 48 hours of your event, as we will have purchased and prepared food and contracted staff accordingly. We will do our best to reach an amicable decision going forward.
In the unfortunate event that we should need to cancel or reschedule an event, a full refund or date change will be offered but we are unable to reimburse additional costs such as travel and accommodation that may have been incurred as a result of this.
In the event of bad weather and other 'acts of God' (including but not limited to storms, snow, flood) we will fully risk assess the safety and practicality of travelling to the event. If it is deemed too unsafe for our team to travel and/or for the event to go ahead then you will be contacted and a mutual agreement will be reached (this may include partial refund or date change).
